We are excited to celebrate our students' progress with our semi-annual belt promotion ceremony. All of our students are invited to attend this event. Please wear your uniform.

Any student is eligible for belt promotion at any time, and it is up to the instructors to decide a student's readiness for belt promotion. Many factors are considered when promoting students including...

Dear students,

Many of you have asked if there is anything to help with for tomorrow's memorial for Bear. If you would like to bring a side dish or a dessert it would be greatly appreciated.

In addition, Keiko, Bear's wife, has requested that all of the students line up, the way we line up at the beginning of class, so please make sure to bring your gi. There will also be Open Mat throughout the evening.

There will be a memorial BBQ on Saturday, March 24, for Kevin "Bear" Douglass. The memorial begins at 4:00pm and will be held at the academy. We hope that you all can join us in honoring and remembering Bear.

Sad News

It is with a sad and heavy heart that we inform you that our beloved friend and training partner, Kevin "Bear" Douglass has passed away. We ask that you all keep his wife and family in your thoughts and prayers.

Tonight there will not be a regularly scheduled adult class, but open mat from 7-9pm. We know that Bear would love to see everyone on the mat training.

Kids classes will continue as scheduled.

Charles Gracie/Robson Gracie Jr. Workshop

Hey Team RBBJJ!

We are happy to announce that this Thursday, March 1st, Charles Gracie and Robson Gracie Jr. will be at our academy for a special 2 hour workshop. The workshop will begin at 7:00pm. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early if you plan on participating. The cost is $30 per person. There will not be a Fundamental or Advanced class on Thursday night.
